Book Cover and Title Reveal
This is so exciting! So many hours! Do you know how many times I’ve read, edited, read, corrected, read, re-edited, reread, corrected, read again…? It’s time to put this baby out there and watch her soar!
To find an appropriate title usually isn’t too difficult of a process. Catchy words or phrases are pulled from the manuscript and BAM!–a title is born. However, when choosing the title for my novel, I LOVED one particular phrase, one that fully enveloped the entire theme of my story, but it read very cliché. Certainly, a few dozen authors had already thought of that title. Well, I was right. Luckily, those with the same title belonged, mostly, in the nonfiction realm, thus compelling me to run with what I wanted, but with a twist I haven’t thought of yet. In other words, the complete title is still unknown! Lol! It will be solidified by the end of the week.
As far as the cover, I recruited my beautiful daughter, Kiara, to photograph and edit what you see peeking out in the pic below. She’s a wiz with visualization, color, and all things aesthetic. I am grateful for her willingness to help me. AND isn’t it fun to see children come into their own and use their talents.
Books are definitely a collaborative work of art and I so appreciate those who have talents that differ from mine!
Anyway, stay tuned!!!
