Brief Synopsis

Never Alone explores the importance of families here, in mortality, as well as the familial bonds that carry into the afterlife.

Shortly after the Great War, Allric Tulzer travels across the ocean aboard the RMS Olympic, Titanic's sister ship, where he questions his decision to marry, and his reasons for living at all. His first night sailing, Allric meets a woman who will forever change his life by recruiting him to help with an unsolved family matter, which in turn helps him to decipher what is most important in life. Working together, a divine bond is forged that will span the eternities.

The early 1900s backdrop to Never Alone captures the fashion, language, and behavior during a revolutionary era when ocean liners were still a major mode of transportation. The story begins aboard the RMS Olympic, the RMS Titanic's older sister. The following are some fun facts about the RMS OLYMPIC.

• RMS Olympic's maiden voyage from South Hampton, England to New York: June 14, 1911.
• The RMS Olympic was the sistership to the RMS Titanic and RMS Britannic.
• Of the 3 ships, Olympic had the longest career of 24 years. Titanic sailed into an iceberg, and Britannic struck a mine during the First World War making her the largest ship lost in the war.
• Olympic served as a troopship for Britain during the First World War.
• During her service, Olympic sunk a U-Boat.
• Because of her war service, Olympic was given the name Old Reliable.
• After the war, Olympic returned to civilian service as an ocean liner until being withdrawn in 1935.
